The Power supply range
The
electrophoresis power supplies in the EV range are reliable, high-performance
power supplies which were specially developed to meet the demands of daily
practice. They have been in use for more than 10 years in elec-trophoresis
laboratories throughout the world, where they have become an essential tool.
They are very easy to operate and ideally suited to hard, routine work.
Programmable
Up to 9 different programs
can be set and permanently stored. Each program can access another program. This
means programming of multiple signal functions is possible.
Timer and kVh integrator
The models are
fitted with a timer as standard as well as a volt-hour integrator.
Safeguard against power failure
Sudden
power failure has no effect on the programs of EV power supplies. They
automatically continue experiments after loss of power until the programmed time
or the volt-hour integral is reached.
Automatic cross-over
Every model can be
operated with constant voltage or constant current. The fact that the parameters
are being kept constant is shown on the display panel. Cross-over between
constant voltage and constant current takes place automatically.
Clear LCD displays
The large LCD
displays on EV power supplies are easy to read without any risk of error, even
when viewed from the side or from different angles.
High standard of safety
The
electrophoresis power supplies in the EV range all attain an extremely high
safety standard in terms of user protection. This standard is guaranteed by
features such as safety output sockets, overload protection and shortcircuit
proofing, cutout when the current is interrupted, cutout when leak current is
detected and, in the case of high-voltage power supplies, a slow rise in voltage
to the programmed level. Once switched on, EV power supply units automatically
run a selftest to check correct functioning.
Delivery details
EV power supplies come
with mains cable, a set of connection leads and operating instructions. Extra
connection leads are available as accessories. |
